ANN GADD

Ann Gadd’s ‘sheep’ or ‘ewe’ series of paintings have made her the best selling South African female artist.
The paintings are quirky, humorous, yet often insightful, examining various aspects of our lives, from corporations, sport, I.T. to wine and food.
Ann is also the author of a number of books translated across 14 different languages.
A number of years back, Ann was also the South African National boardsailing overall champion (wave/slalom and course) and held the SA women’s speed record.
She competed at the world championships in Six Fours, France and also beat the then world champion Natalie Siebert in a local wave sailing competition. Since then she has devoted most of her time to writing books and art and as well as raising her children, but still finds time for the odd windsurf.
